• Take some Tulsi leaves and boil it in mustard oil till they turn black. Strain the oil and apply for any skin ailments.
• Rubbing of Tulsi leaves over itching skin will give you quick relief.
• To recover from dry and flaky skin, take 2 tsp. petroleum jelly 1 tsp. glycerin and 1 tsp. lemon juice and mix well. Apply this mixture on your rough palms, arms and legs twice a week.
• To recover from sunburns, take one cucumber and squeeze its juice. Mix ½ tsp. glycerin and ½ tsp. rose water and apply this on sunburns and rinse it after 20 – 30 minutes.
• Rub your hands and feet with lemon peel to remove scars.

For Dry Skin
• Should use scrubs to remove the dry scaly skin.
• Apply ½ tsp of Vitamin E oil with 2-3 drops of lime juice and ½ tsp of glycerin.
• Apply a mixture of 1 tsp warm Olive oil with a few drops of glycerin and 2-3 drops of lime juice.
• 1 tsp of milk cream with2-3 drops of lime juice mixed well. This should be applied 10 minutes before a bath. It reduces the dryness and also is good when applied in Winter
• Plain, whole milk, applied and left on for 10 minutes and washed with cold water helps.
This should be done twice a day.
Body Scrubs
• Mix little quantity of pure turmeric powder in coconut oil and apply this mix into your skin and massage gently. Let it for 10 minutes and take a bath.
Unwanted hair
• Mix turmeric powder with warm coconut oil to make a paste. Apply it in your skin where you have unwanted hair.
Skin Smoothening
• Mix 2 tsp honey with 2 tsp vegetable oil and 1/2 tsp lemon juice. Rub into your skins of hands, elbows, heels and anywhere that feels dry. Rinse with water after ten minutes.
